Scratch Breakfast & Lunch · Excelsior Springs

Diner food,
made honest,
never fancy.

Chipped Mug is the kind of small-town counter where the coffee never runs dry and the cook knows your order before you sit down. Home-style breakfast and lunch, cooked the way a diner is supposed to cook it.

Our Story

A small-town counter that never went corporate.

Chipped Mug runs the way small-town diners have always run: a full pot of coffee, a griddle that never fully cools, and a room full of people who came for breakfast and stayed for the company.
